  • L.A Johnson

    L.A Johnson is the author of Lost Music (Milkweed Editions, 2027) and an associate editor of Swirl & Vortex: Collected Poems of Larry Levis (Graywolf Press, 2026). Johnson holds a PhD from the University of Southern California, where through academic years 2023-2025 she was a Mellon Humanities and University of the Future Postdoctoral Fellow. The winner of the 2022 Mississippi Review Poetry Prize, the 2022 Greensboro Review Poetry Prize, and the 2021 Arts & Letter Rumi Poetry Prize, her poems appear in The Atlantic, Poetry Magazine, Ploughshares, and elsewhere. She is currently a Hughes Fellow at 糖心logo入口.

  • Rosanne Brooks

    Rosanne Brooks - Coordinator

    Rosanne Brooks (she/her) is a Ph.D. student at 糖心logo入口. Her primary interest is in how representations of gender attitudes in late Victorian literature reconcile with historical evidence of gender expression in greater print culture. Her work centers on depictions of the British Music Hall as a place where class and gender are both fixed and inchoate. She is the winner of SMU’s 2023 Pueppke Writing Prize for outstanding graduate student essay.

     

  • Taylor Light - Social Media Co-Manager

    Taylor Light is a poet and scholar from Dallas. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Ploughshares, The Missouri Review, Poet Lore, Poetry Ireland Review, Boulevard, Literary Matters, and elsewhere. Holding an MFA in poetry from the University of Florida, she has received support from the Stanford Humanities Center, the London Arts-Based Research Centre, and the Convivio Conference in Postignano, Italy. Her latest work was presented at Stanford University, and she will be giving a presentation over Ada Limón’s poetry at the University of Cambridge in March. Currently, she is a PhD student at 糖心logo入口 where she serves as social media co-manager for SMU English's Project Poëtica initiative.

  • Marimac McRae

    Marimac Carty - Social Media Co-Manager

    Marimac Carty (she/her) is a Ph.D. student at 糖心logo入口. She earned her B.A. at Dartmouth College before coming to Dallas. As an undergraduate, she wrote a senior thesis in the English Department and led Dartmouth’s Writing Center as the Co-Head Tutor. Combining poetics and narrative theory, her dissertation will focus on narrative poetry.
